Can I walk on my flat roof?

Standard flat roofs are designed for occasional maintenance access. If you plan to use your roof as a balcony or terrace, let us know—we can reinforce the structural joists and use heavy-duty materials specifically designed for foot traffic.

Why is water sitting in the middle of my roof?

This is called "ponding." It usually happens because the timber joists have sagged over time or the roof wasn't pitched correctly. As carpenters, we can fix the internal structure to ensure water runs off into your gutters.

Is EPDM better than Torch-on Felt?

Both are excellent. EPDM is often preferred for its seamless finish and extreme longevity, while Torch-on Felt is a very tough, traditional option that is highly resistant to physical damage. We can recommend the best fit for your specific project.
